Yes - this is a must. We are most busy during Christmas, New Years and School holidays. Please contact us to enquire about availability or to book

What vaccinations does my dog or cat need to stay at Playful Paws?

Dogs: Vanguard 5, Leptoguard and kennel cough which must have been administrated within the last 12 months and at last 7 days prior to arrival.

Cats: The triple vaccine against 3 core diseases; Panleucopaenia, Herpes Virus and Calicivrus & Feline Aids (if communal cat)

*THESE MUST ALL BE DISPLAYED IN THEIR VET BOOK*

Please ensure your cat/dog has had up to date flea/worm treatment at least 5 days before booking dates.

Is there a discount for longer bookings?

No - pets here for long stays require more care and attention from our staff.

Will my dog play with others?

Yes! This is very much a social environment for dogs. We carefully assign the dogs into appropriate groups by age, size and temperament.

Will my dog get lonely?

We have set up the facility which provides interaction and companionship. With lots to do and see, theres plenty to get involved in. We also give the dogs plenty of attention and playtime

What do you feed the dogs?

We feed Cop Rice Family Dog biscuits & either Superior Chunky, Field & Forest, or Possyum Dog Roll for breakfast and dinner along with Tux biscuits for lunch

Do you have a communal cattery where the cats hang out together?

Yes. But each cat has their own sleep space at night.

Can I provide my dogs or cats food? Is this cheaper?

We can feed special diet requirements supplied by you on request. There is no reduction in price as this requires more work.

Please note any wet food must be packed in 'leak proof' container.

My dog or cat has to take medication - can you give it to them?

Yes we can. There is no additional cost for this.

​

Can I bring a special blanket or toy?

Yes but we are not responsible for these items.

We do provide toys and clean bedding

What is the payment method?

Payment has to be made by the day of departure. We accept cash, eftpos. No Credit Cards.

​

I have two pets, can they stay together?

Definitely. (Dogs and cats have to be separate).

​

I have not been to Playful Paws, can I inspect prior to booking? 

Of course. We just ask you to call or email to arrange a time with us.

​

What if I want to collect my dog outside of the pickup/drop off hours?

This is sometimes possible with prior arrangement and with in reason.

Do the owners live on site?

Yes!
